Press / Business contact:
We are an indie game development studio, based in Auckland, New Zealand. Itsfine Games is a small start-up comprised of Media Design School students.
Forming as the byproduct of a university paper, Itsfine Games comprises of five Media Design School students, based in Auckland New Zealand. After developing a series of rapid game prototypes, Itsfine sparked the attention of MDS Studios, a student accelerator at Media Design School designed to encourage and support student entrepreneurship in game development. Through this accelerator, we have been developing our first title, Split. We as a company have received a huge amount of support from the local and online game development community, with us sparking interest being a predominantly female team.Greenlight
In late October we submitted our current progress on Split to Steam Greenlight. We were instantly met with huge praise, managing to reach the Top 100 in little over two days, the top 20 in 6 days and passing the Greenlight process in just 10 days. The amount of support and feedback from the community has been amazing, giving us high hopes for Split's potential in the near future.Recently
Through the accelerator we have had the opportunity to work on developing Split full time over the last 3 months. We have also received a huge amount of local media interest and have been featured in Stuff, The Sunday Star Times and on Radio NZ. The team has been working tirelessly and have set 2 March 2016 as our Steam Early Access release date.
