Description

Split is a beautifully minimalist puzzle game where you divide yourself to explore, solve and create. In Split, you take control of a cube, which has the ability to break up and split into smaller cubes. Using whatever cubes you have at your disposal, you must try to solve puzzles to reach the door at the end of the level, bringing as much of yourself with you as possible.

History

Split is based off of a 1 week prototype originally designed for a university paper, which Itsfine had the opportunity to develop over 3 months. For release Split has 16 unique, fully-functioning levels for you to enjoy, each employing a combination of existing and new mechanics. The team had great ambition to try and facilitate the creative minds of their players. Using Unreal Engine 4 and Steam Workshop integration, they began working on a Level Editor for players to create their own unique puzzles. Unfortunately due to the course requirements and intensive nature of their degree, the team was unable to continue work on Split. They were required to work on a new game for their final year production, leading to the creation of Rattletrap Racing. This multiplayer racing game will be available on Steam for FREE late 2016.

  • Beautifully crafted 3D environments
  • Challenging spatial puzzles
